Warzone
Hey everyone! If you're like me, you've probably been searching for that meta SMG to dominate close quarters in Warzone. Well, let me tell you, the Sten Submachine Gun is seriously underrated and, with the right setup, it absolutely slays. I've spent hours tweaking my loadout, and I'm here to share what I've found to be the absolute best way to run this classic weapon. First off, why the Sten? Its fire rate is fantastic for shredding enemies up close, and its mobility allows you to outmaneuver opponents in tight spaces. While many players might gravitate towards other popular SMGs or even an AR/LMG combo, the Sten offers a unique blend of speed and effective damage that can catch people off guard. When you're in those intense building fights or pushing objectives, having a fast-firing, reliable SMG like the Sten can make all the difference. So, what's my go-to build? For the Muzzle, I always run the *Recoil Booster*. It boosts your fire rate, which is crucial for maximizing the Sten's time-to-kill (TTK). Next, for the Barrel, I opt for the *SA 65MM Rapid*. This further enhances fire rate and recoil control, making it a laser beam if you manage your aim. For the Optic, it's really personal preference, but I find a clear sight like the Slate Reflector or G16 2.5x (if you want a bit more range) works wonders. Moving onto the Stock, the Gai-Pad 12B is a game-changer for mobility and aim walking movement speed, letting you strafe and dodge bullets like a pro. For Underbarrel, the M1941 Hand Stop is excellent for even more recoil control and accuracy. On the Magazine front, the 9mm 50 Round Drums are essential for sustained fire, especially when facing multiple enemies. Ammo Type? Lengthened for that sweet bullet velocity, ensuring your shots connect faster. For the Rear Grip, the Hatched Grip improves recoil control and flinch resistance, keeping your aim steady under pressure. And finally, for Perk 1, Fleet is a solid choice for increased movement speed, perfect for aggressive plays. For Perk 2, Steady is great for hip-fire accuracy if you find yourself in super close engagements. Using this loadout, I've noticed a significant improvement in my K/D ratio in Caldera and Rebirth Island. Remember, the Sten excels in close to medium range. Try to avoid open-field gunfights against long-range ARs or LMGs – that's where you'll be at a disadvantage. Instead, use its mobility to flank enemies, push buildings, and clear rooms. Don't be afraid to pre-fire corners, as its high fire rate will often give you the advantage. Practice makes perfect, so jump into a few matches with this setup and get a feel for its power. You'll be surprised how quickly you start racking up those eliminations with this underappreciated gem!
