The honey moon phase ends

We used to have conversations about all kinds of stuff, like music, clothes, memes, and movies. All that good stuff. But now our conversations aren't as interesting. When we started dating we would talk through entire car rides places but now we just sit quietly every time. At restaurants we just eat quietly and I try to make conversation but he just answers shortly and doesn’t continue the conversation. I just feel I'm the only one putting effort into conversations now. I love him and he says he loves me. I dont know what to do. Advice?

Many couples experience a shift where the initial excitement decreases, resulting in less engaging conversations. To counteract this, consider implementing techniques to reignite meaningful discussions. Start by scheduling regular date nights, where you can focus on each other without distractions. Try introducing 'conversation starters,' such as fun questions or memory prompts to encourage deeper dialogues. Engaging in shared activities like cooking, playing games, or exploring new hobbies together can also stimulate conversation and reignite intimacy. Additionally, being open about feelings and encouraging your partner to share their thoughts can foster a more balanced exchange of ideas. It’s essential to remain patient as both partners adapt to changes in communication styles. Relationship dynamics can evolve, but with intention and effort, you can enhance your connection and keep the conversations flowing. Remember, it’s about building a partnership where both individuals feel valued and heard.

Ugh I hates when this happens because is also hard since I’m sensitive and take everything to seriously. Plus I can talk SO much but I don’t want to be the only one talking you know?
