I’m not quitting! Fire me!
My manager’s been trying to push me out for weeks. Sticking me with all the garbage shifts, closing alone on weekends, early mornings after late nights. Real mature stuff.
Yesterday she cornered me in the break room, all fake concerned: “You know, maybe this role just isn’t working out for you lately.” I didn’t even blink. Looked her dead in the eye and said: “I’m not leaving. If you want me gone, cut the games. That’s what severance is for.”
The way her face went from smug to shocked? It was so good. Now she’s avoiding me. Won’t even make eye contact when we pass in the hall. Funny how they act tough until you call their bluff. Has a boss ever tried to bully you into quitting? How’d you hold your ground?

Does your company have an Human Resources office? If yes, go talk to them about it. If you’re not doing anything wrong on your job, then HR should be notified and you can report the bullying.
