How to ACTUALLY get your security deposit back
If you’re moving out soon, here’s your sign to snap pics of everything. I’m talking walls, baseboards, fridge shelves, the inside of your oven—don’t skip a single corner. Some landlords will literally look for dust to keep your deposit. Clean like your money’s on the line (because it is), and don’t forget to ask for a walk-through before turning in those keys!

What I do is after everything is out I clean everything. Then I video every room and I am talking while I am taking the video. I also video the cabinets, refrigerator, walk in shower, closets, pantry, laundry room and the storage closet closed and open.
