Random acts of kindness 🫶
As we come to the end of our day, our beautiful best friends Aueng Kham and Hom Nuan wish to offer us a very important Wellness Wednesday Tip. One that we can carry with us any and every day of the week.
Random Acts of Kindness. 🙂🌹☕️💖🫶☎️
🐘🐘🐘 Elephants are thought to be highly altruistic animals. They are known to be kind and empathetic animals. They exhibit behaviors like comforting distressed individuals, mourning the dead, and even offering aid to other species, including humans, in need. Their complex social structures and strong family bonds also contribute to their reputation for kindness.
Performing random acts of kindness is a foolproof and easy way to instantly lift not only your spirits and brighten up your day, but someone else's as well!
According to Psychology Today, performing random acts of kindness releases feel-good neurochemicals like oxytocin that can not only improve your mood but can also improve your overall physical and mental health. And as an added bonus, you’ll make the person on the receiving end of the kindness feel good, too! It's amazing how a small gesture can turn yours and someone else's day around!
A random act of kindness doesn’t have to be a grand gesture, and it doesn’t have to be meticulously planned. Simply aim for something small and spontaneous. A little goes a long way. So, share a smile; give a compliment; offer a hug; give a call; donate to help others; buy someone a coffee.... OR, simply share this post! Who wouldn't smile and be uplifted by these two beautiful gentle giants?!
There are so many different and fun ways to practice random acts of kindness, which can be quite contagious, and our world definitely could use a little more kindness.
