For my track "If You're Gonna Miss Me," I’m focusing on dialing in both the beats and lyrics to create a sound that truly resonates with listeners. Country music is such a personal genre, filled with storytelling and emotion, so getting the right words that evoke feeling is really important to me. I’ve been experimenting with different rhythms and melodies to complement the lyrics about longing and connection. It's been a process of trial and error, adjusting my composition to find that sweet spot where the music and words enhance each other perfectly. Sometimes I’ll play the song repeatedly, trying to refine every bar and every note until it feels just right. What’s rewarding is sharing these early versions and getting feedback from listeners, which helps shape the final sound. I’m also brainstorming titles for my new album, which will feature this song. The album will likely explore themes around relationships, emotions, and life stories that are close to my heart. If you’re a fan of country music or songwriting yourself, you know how much effort goes into making a song memorable. Whether it’s the beat that gets your foot tapping or the storytelling that tugs at your heart, it all starts from a place of passion. I’m grateful for the support from fellow musicians and listeners as I continue this creative journey. Stay tuned for more updates and sneak peeks as I work toward releasing my album.
