Date Ideas BELOW $30 (February)

Running out of places to go and things to do?

5 Suggestions for the month of February keke 🤭

1. Visit Studio Ghibli Exhibition (2 feb is the LAST DAY)

Honestly 10/10– it’s the best art exhibit i’ve visited in SG and many of the artefacts there were so so realistic, it felt like I was seeing everything live???

2. Surrey Hill Grocer

If you have a pet, it’s quite a nice place to bring both your partner and your dog down for a nice meal together! They even sell dog icecreams/mains so your furpets wouldn’t miss out on the food 😉

** Per main ranges $20-30 but portions are pretty big so recommend you to share a main and get another side if you’re not a big eater!

3. DIY Clays 🧸

I’m a fan of the artsy craftsy stuff and recently tried making keychains with air dried clay and it was honestly so fun & affordable… <$10 you can get everyt you need to make a lot of keychains

4. Baking 🍪

Valentine’s day is round the corner… so instead of heading out, why not bake at home and decorate your heart cookies WEEEEEEEEE

5. ABC cooking classes

$30/pax for trial classes! Pretty worth it judging that you get to learn a skill & bring back (actually good tasting) food LOL

... Read moreIn addition to the unique February date ideas shared, here are some extra tips to make your outings even better. When visiting exhibitions like the Studio Ghibli one, try to go early to avoid crowds and get the best photo spots. For pet-friendly outings such as at Surrey Hill Grocer, bringing your furry friend’s favorite toy can make the experience more enjoyable for them. If you enjoy crafts, consider grouping your clay keychain making with a casual picnic—this adds a relaxing vibe and extends the date time pleasantly. For baking at home, try personalizing the cookies with each other's favorite flavors or decorations, making the activity more engaging and memorable. And if you’re interested in cooking classes like ABC’s, booking trial classes ahead can secure you a spot and give you both a taste of learning new culinary skills together. These small extra touches can elevate simple plans into truly special experiences that deepen your connection while staying budget-conscious.
