Free winter activities in Chicago 🤍
This is me and my bfs 3rd time going and it’s our favorite thing to do we love walking around and seeing what all the stands have to sell! Every year we get hot chocolate which come with the option of coming in the holiday mugs this year they had 2, they had a nutcracker which was the one shown and a Christmas boot with a mural of the market. Last year I believe it was a penguin and now it’s become tradition that we collect each one! After also exploring for a couple years now I can definitely recommend being hand warmer!!!! And water resistant boots !! If you double layer even better!
While visiting the market we also make time to go see the Christmas tree! It’s located right in Millenium Park. It’s absolutely gorgeous and so mesmerizing I love taking pictures each year of the tree and I get so excited when it gets closer to this time of year to see the tree and seeing what color the lights will be! The tree and market are within walking distance so we like to park underneath in the parking garage and walk around the city but again layer up!! It’s always cold so definitely come prepared!!!
