But sometimes, when we're caught up in itineraries and must-sees, it can feel hard to truly find and savor those "Small Travel Moments That Bring Me Joy." So, I wanted to share some of my own tips on how I actively seek out and make the most of these precious, unscripted parts of my adventures. First, let's talk about that 'Morning coffee with a view.' Instead of just grabbing a chain coffee, I make an effort to find a local cafe, even if it's just a tiny hole-in-the-wall. I'll sit by a window or at an outdoor table, put my phone away, and just watch the world go by. These unexpected discoveries truly feel like secrets made just for me, and they’re often the stories I tell most fondly. Finally, 'Sunsets after a long day exploring' are my ultimate reward. After a day of walking, seeing, and experiencing, finding a beautiful spot to watch the sun go down is pure bliss. I try to research good sunset spots beforehand, but sometimes the best ones are found by accident. I'll often pack a light snack and just sit there, reflecting on the day's adventures, feeling immensely grateful. It's a moment to truly be present and let the day's experiences settle in.
