Homemade Traditional peach cider

No pressure if you don’t have all the ingredients use what you have make it your own. I am doing dress that I love apple cider. I make it every year and this year I thought why not try peach

Ingredients

* 10–12 ripe peaches (or about 8 cups sliced; you can use frozen if fresh aren’t in season)

* 1 orange (optional, adds brightness)

* 3–4 cinnamon sticks

* 1 tablespoon whole cloves

* 1 tablespoon allspice berries (optional)

* ½ cup brown sugar or honey (adjust to taste)

* 8 cups (2 liters) water

make it your own use spices you like I added ginger and star anise

Prep: Slice peaches and an orange (no need to peel).

Simmer: Combine fruit, spices, and water in a pot; simmer for about 1½ hours.

Mash: Mash the softened fruit to release juices.

Strain: Pour through a fine sieve or cheesecloth to remove solids.

Sweeten: Stir in brown sugar or honey to taste.

Serve: Enjoy hot or chilled, optionally garnished with cinnamon or peach slices.
