Take a trip to New York with me
I lived in the city for five years and sometimes when I go back and visit, I ask myself why I ever left. I remember leaving because of wanting to be close to nature, like I am now in New England. But the energy there is undeniable. It is a truly special place. Have you been? Would you go.? in New York? Everyone is accepted. You can be what you want. Follow your dreams or just experience. The possibilities are endless.
Every place has its positives and negatives and I feel that rural America only sees the negatives -but as somebody who’s lived in rural and big city, they both have something special to offer. What do you think?
Walking the Brooklyn Bridge is one of the quintessential New York experiences that truly captures the spirit of the city. Spanning the East River, connecting Manhattan and Brooklyn, this iconic bridge offers breathtaking views and a palpable sense of New York’s architectural grandeur and bustling life. For those who have lived in or visited New York, the bridge often symbolizes the gateway to boundless opportunities and the city’s inclusive atmosphere. What makes New York so magnetic is its diversity and acceptance. People from all walks of life come together, each chasing their dreams or simply immersing themselves in the culture and excitement. Whether it's the bustling streets of Manhattan, the artistic corners of Brooklyn, or the cultural mosaic of Queens, New York embraces individuality and fosters creativity. This melting pot creates a thriving community where everyone can find their place. At the same time, it's important to acknowledge the contrast between urban living and rural life. Rural America offers a pace and closeness to nature that many crave, providing a different kind of richness. Having lived in both settings, one can appreciate how city energy fuels ambition and social connection, while rural areas offer tranquility and a connection to the natural world. Both environments contribute uniquely to the American experience, each with their own positives and challenges. For visitors and residents alike, walking the Brooklyn Bridge is more than just sightseeing—it's an immersive introduction to New York’s essence. The bridge stands as a metaphor for connection and opportunity, echoing the city's promise that anyone, anywhere, can find a home and a chance to flourish. Whether you seek fast-paced adventure or a moment of urban serenity, New York’s blend of tradition and innovation continues to inspire countless individuals worldwide.

I grew up on the beaches and the love of nature from my Dad. Sledding, skakting, walking on the Jetty in Cranston. My Dad brought such peace to me. I ran, walked, and swam the Beaches of RI. And I still had enough energy to raise 3 kids and live to share my hope that you will always be and have enough. My love and happiness will always be a promise for you. .
