I’m turning 27 this year which sounds insane to me! These goals are pretty specific to me & my journey but i hope you can find inspo 🥹✨

Also a reminder that 27 or 30 is still so young!! It’s good to make goals but don’t put pressure on yourself to have it all figured out right now 🫶🏻

here’s my list:

get a masters or PhD

live with my friends one last time

move to LA

create a budget

open a Roth IRA

invest in stock market

know what I want in a partner

travel outside the US

start my supplement business

create healthy habits

more consistent with working out/daily movement

build more muscle (muscle is anti aging)

learn to cook more meals

actively saving for a house

create more art (outside of technology/social media)

feel secure in myself and stop looking for validation from others in my achievements and appearance

wake up at 6am everyday

have consistent morning and nighttime routines

stop being a perfectionist

feel more at peace with myself

have no credit card debt

spend more time with nieces & nephews

have better time management & work life balance

be able to do a pull up 😂

... Read moreOkay, so you're thinking about your 'goals before 30' too? It's such a pivotal time, and I totally get the desire to make the most of these years. I've been diving deep into my own '30 before 30 list,' and while it's exciting, it can also feel a little overwhelming, right? That's why I wanted to share some of my personal strategies for tackling these aspirations, especially if you're looking to make intentional choices and truly 'level up' before the big 3-0. First off, let's talk about the 'why.' For me, setting these goals isn't about ticking off boxes, but about becoming a stronger, more independent version of myself. It's about designing a life that truly reflects my values, not just following trends. It’s about building a solid foundation, whether that’s through financial independence by actively saving for a house, or nurturing my mental wellbeing by learning to feel more at peace with myself. One of the biggest game-changers for me has been creating a 'vision board' – something I saw in an image and thought, 'Yes, this is it!' It's not just a pretty collage; it's a visual roadmap that keeps my goals top-of-mind. Seeing those cityscapes for my LA move, or images that represent financial freedom, really helps cement my intentions. It’s a daily reminder of what I'm working towards. When it comes to breaking down those big dreams, I’ve found it super helpful to categorize them. For example, on the financial front, my goal to 'open a Roth IRA' or 'invest in the stock market' felt huge at first. But by breaking it down into smaller steps – researching different providers, setting up a recurring deposit – it becomes manageable. Creating a detailed budget isn't just about saving; it's about understanding where my money goes so I can strategically save for things like a down payment on a house or even a big trip outside the US. And tackling 'no credit card debt'? That's all about discipline and smart planning, which boosts my sense of security. Then there's wellness and personal growth. Goals like 'build more muscle' or 'be able to do a pull up' require consistent effort. I've learned that consistency truly is key, setting up those 'consistent morning and nighttime routines' to make healthy habits automatic. Things like 'learning to cook more meals' not only saves money but also ensures I'm fueling my body better. And for the mind, working on 'feeling secure in myself and stopping looking for validation' is a journey. It starts with small acts of self-care and acknowledging my achievements internally. For lifestyle and experiences, like 'living with friends one last time' or 'creating more art outside of technology,' these are about enriching my life beyond the daily grind. They remind me to cherish relationships and explore creative outlets that bring me joy. It’s crucial to remember that this isn't a race. The original post mentioned not putting too much pressure on yourself, and I completely echo that. It’s okay if some goals evolve or take longer than planned. The point is the journey of intentional growth. We're all striving to be strong-willed and independent, making choices that truly matter. So, whether you're crafting your own 'goals before 30' list or just starting to think about what 'leveling up' means to you, remember to enjoy the process and celebrate every small win along the way!
