anxiety hacks for work days 😅

I always feel more anxious on days I have to go to the office 💀

which makes working even harder! But luckily I’ve found tips & tricks to help me in anxious moments:

1) Frequency music: I’ll listen to frequencies while I’m working at my desk to help me chill out! I’ll search on YouTube for anxiety or relaxing frequencies!

2) Adaptogens: adaptogens help reduce the effects of stress on the body. I like reishi, holy basil, magnesium, and L-theanine. I use this blend called Daily Harmony from Elix!

3) Noise canceling headphones: office noise can be super stimulating for me and makes it so I can’t concentrate on my work. I love noise canceling headphones so it makes things a little less noisy & peaceful.

4) EFT tapping when you’re in the car: EFT tapping can help you calm down and process emotions. I love eft tapping in the car or doing a grounding meditation before going into work or on lunch.

5) Walking & stretching: if I’m anxious my muscles really tense up and moving my body helps to release some of that tension. Plus movement helps your body process and feel safe. I like to go on hot girl walks during my lunch or whenever I need to around the building. I’ll stand at my desk sometimes just to shake out some of the nervous energy.

I’ve been going into an office for over a year now and some days are better than others for anxiety. I hope this helps xx

... Read moreMany people experience increased anxiety on workdays, often due to the fast-paced office environment. Implementing simple yet effective strategies can greatly enhance mental well-being. One popular method is using music frequencies while working. These calming soundtracks help to reduce stress and promote a tranquil workspace. Search for anxiety-relieving music on platforms like YouTube for the best results. Incorporating adaptogens, herbs known for their stress-reducing properties, into your routine can also be beneficial. Popular adaptogens include reishi, ashwagandha, and holy basil, which can be found in various supplements. Noise-canceling headphones are another excellent tool to help maintain focus in noisy office settings. By minimizing external distractions, you can enhance your productivity and concentration. Practice mindfulness techniques such as EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques) tapping, particularly during commute time. This technique involves tapping on specific meridian points to release emotional blockages and alleviate anxiety. Finally, don't underestimate the power of physical movement. Taking short walks or stretching during breaks can help release tension and rejuvenate your mind. Regular movement fosters a sense of safety and well-being, allowing you to navigate workdays with greater ease. By integrating these strategies into your daily routine, you can create a more peaceful and productive work environment for yourself.
