supplements I take for inflammation & why!
I recently found out my have PCOS & have been trying to reduce inflammation! My functional medicine doctor recommended a few of these of me & I’ve been doing my own research on what to take!❤️🔥
ginger & turmeric: these are my go-to’s for digestion & inflammation! I love getting ginger & turmeric shots or making them myself. I also love making tea with them. They’re both amazing for joint pain & overall inflammation.
magnesium: there’s a few different types of magnesium, so I love this moon juice supplement I take at bed time because it’s a blend of 3 different kinds. It makes me feel so relaxed & helps me sleep!
vitamin d: vitamin d is critical to our immune system!! And if our immune system isn’t working properly then we’re going to struggle with inflammation. I’m vitamin d deficient right now & so I’m also taking K2 to help with absorption.
omega 3’s: my doctor recommended me to take a high DHA & EPA omega 3 supplement! It’s important to buy quality omega 3’s because some brands are full of fillers instead of the good Omega’s!
vitamin c: vitamin c is a powerful antioxidant that helps reduce oxidative stress & free radicals! I’ll add a scoop of this ascorbic acid powder to smoothies or water if I feel like I need a boost!
bovine liver: I love these bovine liver capsules from Promix! Bovine liver is full of bioavailable nutrients like A and B vitamins. Vitamin A is also a powerful antioxidant that breaks down free radicals in our body.
Let me know if you try any of these out! Hope this helps xx

Dealing with inflammation can be challenging, especially with conditions like PCOS. Incorporating specific supplements into your routine can significantly help. **Ginger and Turmeric:** Both are known for their anti-inflammatory properties, aiding in digestion and reducing joint pain. Consider taking them as shots or in tea form for optimal benefits. **Magnesium:** This essential mineral promotes muscle relaxation and reduces anxiety, making it a perfect bedtime supplement. Many magnesium supplements blend various types for enhanced effects. **Vitamin D:** Vital for a robust immune system, vitamin D deficiency can lead to increased inflammation. Taking vitamin K2 alongside can improve absorption. **Omega-3 Fatty Acids:** High-quality omega-3s rich in DHA and EPA are crucial, as they help reduce blood triglycerides and inflammation while promoting brain function. **Vitamin C:** A powerful antioxidant, vitamin C helps tackle oxidative stress and can alleviate signs of skin inflammation. Mixing ascorbic acid powder into smoothies or water can provide a substantial boost. **Bovine Liver:** Packed with bioavailable nutrients, bovine liver supplements offer high levels of vitamins A and B, which can assist in strengthening your immune response. Integrating these supplements into your daily routine could be a game-changer in managing inflammation effectively!
