how to start your hormone journey ✨
if you’re just starting your hormone journey this is for you!🥹✨
1) test your hormones: don’t skip step 1!!! to treat symptoms effectively, you need to know what hormone is out of balance! without knowing you’re guessing … & this can make imbalances worse depending on the supplements, dietary changes, etc.
I used a kit from Muse to test my hormones at home & they’ve been so helpful in my journey 🧡
2) track your cycle: our cycle gives us a lot of insight to our hormone health! if you have an iPhone you can do this for free in the health app! I have an Apple Watch that takes my temperature so it can predict ovulation more accurately✨
3) support your liver & lymphatic system: use a castor oil pack before bed with a heating pad to stimulate liver detoxification + dry brush to help move lymph & keep your immune system healthy
4) prioritize gut health/change your diet: what you eat directly impacts your hormone health through our gut! Eat food that optimizes your gut health like high in fiber, probiotics, glutamine and healthy fats 🥦🥑
5) move your body: movement helps keep blood & lymph flowing which helps hormones move throughout the body! Do low impact movements like walking, yoga & Pilates to keep cortisol low 🧘🏼♀️
hope this helps xx

Starting your hormone journey can be empowering, and understanding your hormones is crucial for optimal health. First, testing your hormones with a reliable kit helps identify imbalances. It's recommended to use tools like Muse for at-home testing. Next, tracking your cycle offers insights into hormone patterns. Utilize apps on your iPhone or devices like the Apple Watch to monitor ovulation and overall cycle health effectively. Don’t forget to support your liver and lymphatic system with remedies such as castor oil packs and dry brushing, promoting detoxification and immune function. Additionally, emphasize gut health by incorporating high-fiber foods, probiotics, and healthy fats into your diet, as these factors significantly affect hormone regulation. Lastly, regular physical activity enhances hormone balance; consider low-impact exercises such as walking, yoga, or Pilates to aid blood flow and reduce cortisol levels.
