Bloating can be distressing, but understanding its causes and implementing natural remedies can greatly alleviate discomfort. Stress is a significant trigger, so finding ways to relax, such as deep breathing or yoga, is essential. Eating mindfully and avoiding meals during stressful situations can help your digestive system function better. Incorporating walks into your routine aids digestion and helps reduce bloating. Using a castor oil pack on your stomach can also provide relief, particularly prior to bedtime when the body is beginning to heal and recharge. Enzymes and natural herbs like fennel, peppermint, and ginger are well-known for their digestive benefits. They can notably ease gas, bloating, and stomach cramps, particularly useful for those experiencing bloating during their luteal phase due to hormonal changes. In addition, increasing dietary fiber gradually and ensuring regular physical activity can enhance gut motility. Methods such as lymphatic drainage massage can further assist in reducing abdominal swelling. Recognizing how different foods affect your digestion allows for more informed choices, promoting overall gut health and wellness.

Eating when stressed is so real. I literally binged a 7 course meal from McDonald’s last night lol
