How I make time to take care of myself✨

“wellness” doesn’t have to be your whole personality or take up your wholeee morning in order to prioritize your hormone & overall health!

I DO have a full time job + content creation so I get asked a lot how I’m able to make time for taking care of myself 🥹

It’s been a learning progress but here’s what’s helped me:

1. waking up 2 hours before work: this is KEY to my morning routine! I need enough time to do all my wellness activities like oral care, skin care, lymphatic drainage, & making breakfast all before the stress of work

2. scheduling work outs & self care: trying to find the time & actually making the time is essential. Your workouts & self care should blocked off in your calendar. The days I don’t have the time blocked off it doesn’t happen 🥲

3. sticking to morning & nighttime routines: routines keep me sane! They provide structure and predictability. Routines important rituals you do every day & you don’t even have to think it which can reduce stress.

4. setting boundaries: boundaries are important for you prioritizing your health! This is a boundary with yourself or one you might have to make with work, friends, partners, school, etc. you might have to say no to plans that conflict with your scheduled self care time.

5. meal prepping the same day each week: meal prep insures you have the right kind of food you need to nourish your body. Doing it the same day every week (I like Sunday’s!makes it a routine you can plan for and won’t skip!

I’ve seen big improvements in my health since I’ve incorporated these practices ✨

Do you find it hard to make time for your wellness routines/self care?🤍

... Read moreFinding time in your busy schedule for self-care can be challenging, especially when juggling responsibilities like work and personal projects. Here are additional strategies that can help you further improve your wellness routine: 1. **Mindfulness Practices:** Incorporating mindfulness techniques such as meditation or deep breathing exercises can significantly reduce stress and enhance your overall emotional well-being. Even spending just a few minutes daily can make a difference. 2. **Meal Planning:** Beyond just weekly meal prepping, consider planning your meals monthly to save time and ensure balanced nutrition. This way, you can avoid last-minute unhealthy eating decisions. 3. **Self-Care Time Blocks:** Just as you would schedule a meeting, block out specific times in your week solely dedicated to self-care activities. This creates non-negotiable timeframes for activities that rejuvenate you. 4. **Fitness Integration:** Look for ways to integrate physical activity throughout your day, such as walking during breaks or doing quick workouts at home. This can be a time-efficient way to enhance your fitness without it consuming hours. 5. **Socializing Mindfully:** Engage in social activities that contribute positively to your wellness journey. Surround yourself with people who support your health goals, making social gatherings enjoyable and beneficial for your self-care. Embracing these techniques can lead to profound enhancements in your physical, mental, and emotional health, enabling you to enjoy a more balanced lifestyle.
