This is MY WORLD and I’m making ME happy.
I wanted to be a YouTube girly sooooo bad as a Teen. I made my mom and granny buy camera after camera light after light to always just let fear come in and stop me right in my tracks, I was scared they’d talk about me share my content in there group chats and laugh at me so I never did it. For years I’ve talked to my friend and family about “starting my content journey” I’ve brought so many books and wrote so many game plans and fear always stopped me. I used the excuse of being “shy” but in reality I was just scared. And I STILL have those same fears but the older I get the less I care. This is MY WORLD AND IM DOING WHAT MAKES ME HAPPY. There gonna talk and laugh regardless there gonna have something to say anyway so why not do the things that bring you joy! My 30s have been about letting go and stepping out on faith doing things to make me smile. I still feel those butterflies when people I know follow me but instead of letting the fear stop me I let it motivate me to keep doing the things I LOVE. Because I refuse to continue to live with those what ifs? Even if I don’t become the next Aaliyah Jay, Kirah ominique, Dearra, or Allyiah Face at least I can say I had fun and finally did something that brought me joy and with that I’m satisfied 🩵
