Hey CoDM fam! So glad you're checking out my favorite 'ice loadout' that I swear by for crushing it in ranked matches. When I say 'ice loadout,' I'm talking about a setup that just chills opponents to the bone and leaves them frozen in their tracks – literally, if you have some of those cool ice-themed blueprints! For me, this setup is all about precision, control, and getting those critical "Hardpoint Kill" and "Normal Kill" streaks. My primary 'ice weapon' of choice is often the Arctic .50, especially if I can pair it with a legendary skin like the 'Ice Axe' or something similar that gives it that frosty edge. This sniper rifle is a beast when it comes to long-range engagements, and with the right attachments, it feels incredibly responsive. Here’s how I deck it out to make it an absolute "Kingslayer" machine: Muzzle: MIP Light Flash Guard – This helps with muzzle flash concealment, keeping me off the enemy's radar for a brief moment after I take a shot. Essential for holding down critical areas like "MID SQUARE" on certain maps without giving away my position too easily. Barrel: OWC Ranger – Boosts damage range and bullet velocity, making those distant shots hit even harder and faster. It also helps with flinch stability, which is crucial when you're under pressure. Optic: Default Sniper Scope – I prefer the clean sight picture of the default for the Arctic .50, but if you struggle with quick scopes, a tactical scope can be a good alternative. Stock: Combat Stock – Improves ADS movement speed and flinch stability. This is key for quickly peaking corners and re-adjusting aim after getting shot, helping me secure those fast "Normal Kill" shots. Rear Grip: Stippled Grip Tape – Increases ADS speed, which is non-negotiable for a sniper trying to keep up with the fast pace of CoDM. For my secondary, I usually run a reliable pistol like the J358 or Renetti for those close-quarter surprises when someone gets too near. It’s saved me countless times when I'm caught reloading my sniper! My lethal equipment often includes a frag grenade for clearing out objectives or flushing enemies from cover, and a trophy system for tactical defense, especially when I'm defending a hardpoint at "SPECIAL FORCES BASE" or other objective-heavy maps. As for my Operator Skill, the Annihilator is a great fit for pushing objectives or shutting down enemy pushes. When I'm trying to hit that "50 PONTS TO WIN" mark in a Hardpoint match, being able to quickly take out multiple enemies is invaluable. My perk setup focuses on awareness and survival: Red Perk: Lightweight – For faster movement, letting me reposition quickly. Green Perk: Quick Fix – Immediate health regeneration after a kill. This is a game-changer for aggressive sniping and staying in the fight longer, really helping to string together those "WINNING" streaks. Blue Perk: Dead Silence – Stealth is everything for a sniper. Moving silently lets me flank enemies and find prime spots without being detected. Using this 'ice loadout,' I've found myself consistently topping the scoreboard and securing "WINNING" outcomes for my team. The key is to find good sightlines, pre-aim common enemy routes, and always be aware of your surroundings. Don't be afraid to push up and take calculated risks, especially when trying to capture a hardpoint.
