Candy hearts ♡

... Read moreHey everyone! Wanted to share some tips on how to recreate this super fun and festive candy heart makeup look, perfect for Valentine's Day or really any day you want to feel extra sweet! I know a lot of you are looking for inspiration, and this one is definitely a head-turner. First up, let's talk about those dreamy eyes. I started with a good eye primer to make sure everything stays put. Then, I layered some glittery pink and gold eyeshadow across the lids. The trick is to blend the pink on the inner half and the gold on the outer, creating a soft, luminous gradient. Don't be afraid to pack on the glitter for that extra sparkle! For definition, a thin line of black eyeliner close to the lash line works wonders. To really make the eyes pop, I added long eyelashes. Whether you prefer a few individual lashes or a full strip, they'll instantly elevate the look and give it that doll-like charm. Moving onto the face, this is where the conversation heart stickers come in! These are so much fun and really make the look unique. I found mine at a craft store, but you can also find them online. I carefully placed a few on my cheeks, making sure they didn't cover up my natural freckled skin completely – they just added to the cuteness! Some of my favorites had words like 'SWEET HEART' and 'LOL' which really brought the theme together. If you can't find stickers, you could always use a fine-tipped brush and some body paint to draw small hearts in pastel colors. For a cohesive look, a light blush on the apples of your cheeks gives you that flushed, romantic glow. Finally, for the lips, nothing says Valentine's Day quite like red lipstick. I opted for a classic matte red, but a glossy finish would also look amazing. Make sure to line your lips first for a crisp, clean edge. If you have a lip piercing like mine, it adds an edgy contrast to the sweet theme, which I personally love! This look is all about embracing the playful side of makeup. It’s surprisingly easy to achieve once you have your materials, and it's guaranteed to get compliments. Don't be afraid to experiment with different shades of pink or even try blue or purple hearts for a unique twist. Let me know if you try it out!
