Bisexual visibility week 🩷💜💙

September 16-23 is Bi visibility week. ♡

Remember to be proud of who you are ♡

Fun facts:

• Michael Page created the flag in 1998

• The colors of the bisexual pride flag are pink, royal blue, and purple:

Pink: Represents attraction to the same sex or gender

Royal blue: Represents attraction to the opposite sex or gender

Purple: Represents attraction to all genders or more than one.

• Double crescent moon. Some bisexual individuals object to the use of a pink triangle in the bi-Angles symbol of bisexuality. In response, a double crescent moon symbol of bisexuality was devised by Vivian Wagner in 1998.

... Read moreBisexual Visibility Week is a time to uplift and celebrate the bisexual community. Originating in 1998, it promotes awareness and acceptance of bisexual identities. The bisexual pride flag, designed by Michael Page, features three key colors: pink, representing same-sex attraction; royal blue for opposite-sex attraction; and purple for attraction to all genders. This week encourages individuals to be proud of who they are and to educate others about bisexuality. In addition, some may prefer the double crescent moon symbol, which was created by Vivian Wagner for those who feel misrepresented by the pink triangle. Engaging in this week’s festivities fosters inclusivity, support, and understanding within and outside the LGBTQ+ community. Share your pride using hashtags like #bisexualpride and #lgbtq to bring attention to the visibility and rights of bisexual individuals.
