You CAN rewrite your story!
Short backstory: I was a person who did not care what happened to me. I was reckless, dumb, made a lot of bad decisions, and was almost ended by them. I turned my life around.
Sober, free of addictions, and mentally thriving.
I decided one day that I wanted to LIVE and not just survive. I did rewrite my story.
You are not dirty. You are not unworthy. You are not a burden. You CAN do this! Rewrite your story, sweet souls! I can’t wait to see what the next chapters contain. And I want to be there as you write them. 🫂
Be strong! I believe in you!
Much love!!!

The original post is a powerful declaration, but many of you might be wondering, "Okay, but how do I rewrite my story?" I get it. That feeling of being stuck, of believing your past defines your future, is incredibly heavy. I promise you're NOT the only one who feels that way. My own journey wasn't a sudden flip of a switch; it was a series of small, intentional steps, especially when I was working through a wounded heart. One of the biggest shifts for me was realizing that I had the power to choose. For so long, I felt like a victim of circumstances, of my own bad decisions. But deciding to LIVE, truly live, meant taking responsibility for my choices moving forward. It meant acknowledging that I was tired of just surviving and wanted to thrive. This realization was the first spark that helped me start stepping out of the dark. Practically, this looked like setting boundaries – with people, with habits, even with my own thoughts. It meant seeking support, not just trying to tough it out alone. For me, that involved finding healthy outlets, whether it was therapy, journaling, or connecting with a supportive community. It wasn't about erasing the past, but about learning from it and choosing a different path. Every day, I reminded myself, "You can rewrite your story!" Another crucial part was self-compassion. I used to beat myself up endlessly for my mistakes. But to heal and move forward, I had to learn to forgive myself. It’s a process, not a one-time event. Treating myself with the same kindness I'd offer a friend who was struggling made a huge difference. It allowed me to acknowledge the pain without letting it consume me. Remember, your worth isn't tied to your past mistakes. If you're feeling overwhelmed, start small. What's one tiny change you can make today that aligns with the person you want to become? It could be reaching out to a trusted friend, spending five minutes in nature, or simply choosing one healthy meal. These seemingly insignificant steps build momentum. They are your bricks, laying the foundation for a new destiny waiting for you. This journey of transformation is deeply personal, and there will be ups and downs. But the beauty of it is that you hold the pen. You have the power to choose your next chapter. Don't let anyone, especially your past self, tell you that you can't. You are capable of so much more than you realize. Keep believing in yourself, and keep writing.
