College Film photo Dump 🎞️🎞️

Taking film photos through college captured some of my favorite memories and turned them into something even more special. Film really takes a moment and creates a beautiful picture of it. I’m so happy I got so many great pictures to look back on when I’m older from my college years and talk about them with all my friends and family forever❤️❤️

Film photography has experienced a resurgence among college students, as it offers a tangible and nostalgic way to document life’s most cherished moments. Through the unique and imperfect qualities of film, photos taken on campus can evoke emotions and memories that digital photography often fails to capture. Many students find joy in using vintage cameras to capture candid shots during parties, events, and quiet moments on campus. The process of film photography encourages a slower, more deliberate approach to capturing images, allowing students to be present in the moment. This art form fosters creativity and often leads to a stronger connection to their memories. Popular films among college photographers include Kodak Portra for its vibrant colors, and Ilford HP5 for those who enjoy classic black and white photography. Additionally, sharing photos on social media platforms with hashtags like #FilmIsNotDead or #CollegeFilm can connect students with a wider community of film enthusiasts. Engaging with others who share similar passions can enhance the college experience and inspire creativity. For those interested in exploring this art form, consider joining photography clubs or workshops on campus. These resources can provide valuable tips on shooting techniques, film development, and how to curate your own unique photo dump to treasure for years to come.
