I wanted to come on and just do a quick debrief: summers coming , and I’m feel far more stressed out about it than I thought ..? 💭
I’ve been in a pretty negative head space these last few days and I’m constantly just picking out things that make me feel horrible, or insecure and I can’t seem to snap out of it! All I keep thinking is how I’m gonna be in a bathing suit soon, my hair color is awful, my skin is breaking out, and it’s just really really beating me down 🫠
Even in this photo—im in the gym, I’m smiling BUT long behold I actually hate this picture. I’ve struggled with body image for as long as I can remember and although I try to be proud of where I’m at, and the hard work I put in — it can get so discouraging to feel like this and compare, and stress, and worry that you’re not whatever beauty standard you created in your head.
This is sorta a rant, and all over the place, but just know—it’s normal to feel down some days, and it’s normal to feel insecure or discouraged. You cant have flowers with out a little rain, so be easy on yourself. 🫶🏻☹️😊🌺🌷
