I’ve always found that my best artistic inspiration comes from the natural world around me and the stories I've grown to love. Recently, I’ve been exploring themes connected to gardening and witchcraft, which reflect deeply in my newest creations. For instance, the image featuring "Sage" captures my affection for plants that symbolize wisdom and protection in many traditions. I enjoy incorporating such elements into my work to invite viewers into a world where nature and magic intersect. Working on these new pieces, I focused on textures and organic forms, inspired by the beauty found in brussels sprouts and other unusual but fascinating plants. While many might dislike their bitter taste or toxicity, I see a kind of dark charm that adds depth to my art. My personal journey with gardening as a hobby has enriched my appreciation for these plants, and that feeling often translates visually in my paintings.
