a peek of Durmitor National Park— a place I didn’t know existed until I got off the bus in Montenegro & saw a sign heading towards “Zabljak”

Durmitor National Park is located in northwestern Montenegro & a slice of hiking heaven! Stay in the main town of Zabljak & have the national park at your doorstep.

Here are my favorite hikes in Durmitor:

• The Ice Cave Hike (or Ledena Pecina)

• Bobotov Kuk Hike

• Zmijinje Jezero Hike

You could easily spend a week exploring Durmitor! Add it to your bucket list & get your hiking boots ready!
