Been a little MIA the last week. It’s because we’ve been getting settled in our new home in Indianapolis! 🥰
Moving to a new city is always a mix of excitement and challenges, and settling into Indianapolis has been a truly rewarding experience. One of the standout joys has been discovering that hydrangeas thrive here—something that was not possible in Florida's climate. It’s amazing how a change in environment can open up new possibilities for gardening and outdoor enjoyment. Being able to enjoy spring florals right in my neighborhood adds a refreshing touch to everyday life. Another highlight has been getting to know the neighborhood, which is absolutely breathtaking. From charming vintage and antique shops to scenic spots perfect for weekend strolls, the community really feels welcoming and full of character. These small adventures have helped make our new city feel like home quickly. Cooking in my own kitchen again has brought a lot of comfort and joy. Having access to my personal cooking tools has inspired me to experiment with new recipes and bring family together over meals. Family time on random Saturday nights has been a cherished way to decompress and create new memories. Moreover, the weather seems perfect for outdoor activities, much to Hutch’s delight. The change of seasons means we can enjoy more time outside, whether it’s exploring local parks or simply relaxing in the backyard surrounded by our curated decor. This blend of natural beauty and home comforts has made this move a truly positive chapter. Sharing these personal experiences highlights how embracing new environments can nurture growth, happiness, and a sense of belonging.
