Tried The Living Room and here’s my honest take 👀
The vibes and decor were absolutely on point. Cozy, elevated, and a great atmosphere for a night out.
🥬 Brussels sprouts appetizer: 7.5/10
🥩 Steak entrée: 8.5/10 cooked beautifully
🍽️ Sides: 5/10 unfortunately not it. Everything was soaked in oil and I couldn’t get past the taste
Overall, great ambiance and strong main protein, but the sides missed the mark for me. Still worth checking out if you’re in the area and going for vibes plus a solid steak.

If you’re planning to visit The Living Room at Tampa or near Wiregrass Mall, here are some additional tips from my experience and what I’ve gathered from local food enthusiasts. The ambiance really makes a difference here — it’s cozy and stylish, perfect for date nights or casual gatherings. The lighting and decor create an elevated yet relaxed feel, which adds value beyond just the food. When it comes to ordering, definitely go for a steak if you want to experience their best dish. Many guests appreciate the way they cook their steaks, usually hitting that ideal medium-rare to medium range. It’s a reliable choice if you want a satisfying entrée. For appetizers, the Brussels sprouts were a highlight for me, scoring a solid 7.5 out of 10. It’s nice to see vegetable starters getting some love, and they come out fresh and flavorful. However, be cautious with the sides. Unfortunately, the oiliness overwhelmed the flavors, which was a common complaint among friends who tried other dishes as well. It might be worth asking the server if there are lighter options or perhaps customizing your sides. Drinks weren’t mentioned in the original review, but based on feedback from other visitors, the cocktail menu is creative and worth exploring, especially if you enjoy craft cocktails alongside your meal. Lastly, parking around the Wiregrass area tends to be busy during peak dinner hours, so plan accordingly. Arriving early or reserving a spot can save you some hassle. Overall, The Living Room is a spot where the vibe can enhance your dining experience, especially if you prioritize atmosphere and a good steak. If you’re visiting Wesley Chapel or Tampa and craving a night out with friends or a date, it’s worth checking out. Just temper your expectations on the sides or consider sharing them to sample several dishes without getting overwhelmed by the oiliness. Exploring local venues like this always adds to my foodie journey, helping me find hidden gems and places that balance quality food with memorable ambiance.
