Kids are being ignored and parents wanna be influencers and that’s just my opinion. ##fyp
In today's digital age, it's not uncommon to see parents dedicating significant time to building their online presence, sometimes at the expense of their children's immediate needs. From personal experience, the balance between sharing family moments online and being truly present can be challenging. I've noticed that when parents focus too much on creating content or chasing likes, children may feel neglected or become needy for attention in less healthy ways. While social media can be a tool for sharing joy and connecting with others, it's essential to set boundaries that protect the parent-child relationship. Engaging in quality time without screens, listening actively, and prioritizing children's emotional needs can help mitigate the adverse effects of parents' online pursuits. Moreover, raising awareness about this issue encourages parents to reflect on their motivations behind posting and helps build communities that support mindful parenting. Ultimately, being an influencer at home—by inspiring and nurturing children—has a far greater impact than any number of followers online.
