First off, patience is key. This isn't a fight you can rush. Your primary defense will be dodging. That massive club swing? Roll out of the way! When it throws rocks, dodge those too, or even better, use ‘Protego’ and ‘Stupefy’ to send them right back, stunning it for a precious few seconds. This is a fantastic opening to land some damage. In my experience, the troll is vulnerable to certain spell types. Force spells like 'Depulso' or 'Descendo' are great for breaking its guard when it slams its club down or for general crowd control if other enemies are around. Control spells like 'Glacius' or 'Arresto Momentum' can briefly freeze or slow it, giving you vital time to unleash a combo or heal. I found 'Incendio' or 'Confringo' to be effective damage dealers, especially when its armor is momentarily broken. Now, for the game-changer: Ancient Magic. The OCR mentioned "TO INVOKE ANCIENT MAGIC," and trust me, this is your ultimate weapon here. You'll notice blue bars filling up during combat. Once a bar is full, you can unleash a powerful Ancient Magic attack. Save these for when the troll is staggered or after you've parried a rock back at it. The sheer damage and stun effect from Ancient Magic can turn the tide instantly. It’s incredibly satisfying to watch its health bar plummet after one of these attacks! Also, don't forget your companions! If you have Natsai Onai with you, as the OCR suggested she might be, she's a fantastic asset. She'll cast her own spells and draw some aggro, giving you a chance to breathe or line up your own attacks. Pay attention to her calls – like "Look! He's faltering!" – these are cues to go all out! She’ll often tell you when the enemy is vulnerable, so capitalize on those moments. Before you even engage, make sure your gear is upgraded, especially your defensive stats. Potions are your best friend – Wiggenweld Potion for health, and maybe even some Edurus Potion for defense if you have it. Having a full stock can make the difference between victory and defeat. The key is to chip away at its health, dodge its powerful attacks, and capitalize on every opening, especially by wisely using your Ancient Magic. It might feel overwhelming at first, but with a bit of practice and these tactics, you'll have that Armoured Troll down in no time. Keep fighting, and good luck!
