Buy or Bye🌸Kylie Skin✨

💌 Kylie Skin Lip Butter $20 • BUY✅

I have been loving this lip butter! The scent/flavor is caramel vanilla and it smells amazing! It’s such a thin formula but provides long lasting moisturization. I’m an aquaphor girly and this works just as well for hydrating my lips. It has a very glossy appearance but isn’t sticky whatsoever! Overall I’d say it’s definitely worth the $$! My only complaint is that I go through it too fast 😫

💌 Kylie Skin Gloss Drip $18 • BYE❌

To preface, I have only tried the shade besitos. The gloss drip comes in 7 shades! Overall, this was a no from me. This is one of the stickiest lip glosses I’ve ever used, and I know some people don’t mind a tacky lip gloss but it drives me crazy 😅 the shade I purchased is really pretty, and it looks sooooo glossy. Unfortunately the formula is way too sticky for me, so if you hate sticky glosses I would also recommend to pass on this one.

Has anyone tried either of these? If so what are your thoughts? 🧐

... Read moreOkay, so you've heard my quick take on the Kylie Skin Lip Butter and Gloss Drip, but let's dive a little deeper into why these products landed in my 'buy' or 'bye' pile! Finding the perfect lip product can feel like a never-ending quest, especially with so many trending options out there, including this 'Kylie edition' of lip essentials. First, let's talk more about the Kylie Skin Lip Butter in Caramel Vanilla. This little gem truly surprised me. When I first squeezed some out of the elegant tube, I noticed its consistency – it's definitely a thinner formula compared to some thick balms, which initially made me wonder if it could really deliver on hydration. But wow, was I wrong! It glides on effortlessly, instantly giving my lips a gorgeous, non-sticky glossy sheen that feels incredibly comfortable. For someone like me, who usually relies on trusty Aquaphor for intense moisture, this butter holds its own. The caramel vanilla scent isn't overpowering; it's a subtle, sweet treat that makes reapplying a joy. My only real frustration is how quickly I go through it – a testament to how much I love wearing it throughout the day. It truly melts into your lips, providing deep, lasting hydration, almost like a comforting skincare treatment for your pout. If you're searching for a luxurious yet effective daily lip hydrator, this is definitely a worthy contender to add to your routine, especially if you love a touch of sweetness. Now, onto the Kylie Skin Gloss Drip, specifically the shade 'Besitos' that I tried. Visually, from the sleek packaging of the Gloss Drip tubes to the actual product on the lips, it’s stunning. It delivers an intense, juicy gloss that makes your lips look incredibly plump and radiant, perfect for that 'dripping lips' effect. The shades are beautiful, offering a vibrant pop of color and shine. However, and this is a big however for me, the stickiness was just too much. I understand some people don't mind a bit of tackiness for longevity, but this was on another level. It felt like my lips were constantly sticking together, which, for me, totally ruins the experience of wearing lip gloss. I found myself constantly being aware of it, rather than just enjoying the look. If you're someone who absolutely despises sticky lip glosses, I'd honestly recommend saving your money on this one, despite how pretty it looks. There are so many fantastic non-sticky gloss options out there that offer similar shine without the discomfort. Thinking about lip care as part of a broader 'skincare' routine, both of these products aim to enhance your lips. The Lip Butter truly leans into the nourishing aspect, acting as a fantastic treatment while providing a beautiful finish. The Gloss Drip, while aesthetically pleasing, might be more of a cosmetic enhancement for those who are less sensitive to texture. For healthy lips, I always recommend a gentle exfoliation once or twice a week, followed by a hydrating balm or butter, especially overnight. During the day, you can layer a gloss for extra shine. Ultimately, your choice depends on your personal preferences for texture, scent, and how much stickiness you can tolerate. I hope this detailed breakdown helps you make an informed decision on your next Kylie Skin lip purchase!
