For my home, I was inspired by my travels in terms of decor. I wanted to evoke the feeling of being on vacation in Europe. Soothing colors, neutrals, natural elements, cotton/linen fabrics, lots of sunlight, mood lighting, warmth and feeling cozy, elevated and luxurious but understated and effortless.
l actually dislike how there are so many trends that people follow in home decor on social because it's un-original, lacks personality, and gets repetitive when you see it everywhere!! Does anyone else feel this way? It just seems like an endless chase of copying others. I would much rather see how people are repurposing something they already use for a new room, or finding something they like personally vs what social is telling them to like. Haha rant done.
