Read moreOne of the most transformative experiences I've had when working on rewiring my self-image was embracing the simple yet profound idea of "assuming the feeling of the wish fulfilled," a core principle from Neville Goddard's teachings. Instead of merely hoping for change or pushing myself harder, I began to create vivid mental scenes where I already was the person I aspired to be. This shift in perception slowly reshaped my inner narrative and brought noticeable changes in my confidence and daily life. The process involves three main steps: First, feeling as if you already embody your ideal self helps create emotional alignment with your goals. For example, imagining myself confidently speaking in public before an actual event empowered me to perform better. Second, renovating your mind by consciously changing your beliefs and the way you talk to yourself can alter your subconscious programming. I found that paying attention to my inner speech and replacing self-doubt with empowering thoughts was crucial. Third, embodying your ideal self through actions aligned with this new identity solidifies the transformation. When you act "as if" your wish is already fulfilled, you train your mind and behavior to support that reality. Applying these frameworks requires patience and consistency but results in a deeper shift than forcing external habits alone. Over time, I noticed my outer circumstances began to reflect my changed self-concept. This method doesn’t ignore effort but emphasizes the importance of change starting from within—your inner world shapes your outer reality.
