Lorac Mascara Review
Trying #Lorac a company that I've never even heard of.
Holy Lash Volumizing #Mascara is a very dry formula. It took 3 coats to get the results I wanted, but didn't feel heavy or weigh down the lashes. Didn't smear or budge after drying. Can verify that it backs the claim of being volumizing; not lengthening. 6️⃣/🔟✨ I recommend for the demographic that prefers dry lightweight volumizing mascaras.
From my experience with volumizing mascaras, I've noticed that formula texture can significantly affect application and wear. Lorac's Holy Lash Volumizing Mascara stands out with its dry consistency, which some might find different from more typical wet mascaras. This dryness means it takes a few coats to achieve the desired fullness, but surprisingly, the lashes never feel heavy or clumpy after layering. One aspect I appreciate is its resistance to smudging and budging throughout the day, a feature many struggle with especially for extended wear up to 6 hours or more, as also shown in the before and after comparisons. For those who often deal with mascara transferring to their eyelids or under-eyes, this attribute is a game-changer. While it doesn't lengthen lashes, it genuinely backs its claim on volumizing, making it suitable for those who prioritize lash fullness. If you prefer mascaras that add dramatic length or curl, you might want to combine this product with a lash curler or a lengthening formula. However, for a natural yet noticeable volume boost with a lightweight feel, it hits the mark. An added benefit is that the dry formula can be less prone to drying out quickly in the tube compared to wetter mascaras. This means you might get more use out of it before it thickens or clumps. For my part, the Holy Lash Volumizing Mascara fits well within my makeup routine when I want my lashes to look fuller without the heaviness or stickiness some volumizing mascaras bring. Overall, it's a good choice if you’re exploring new brands and value durability and volume over length.
