Long distance sucks and i miss my bf 💓 bestie for the restie
Being in a long-distance relationship can truly be challenging, as I’ve personally experienced the emotional ups and downs it brings. The distance itself sometimes feels overwhelming, especially when all you want is to be close to your boyfriend. However, over time, I’ve learned some valuable ways to keep the connection strong and maintain positivity. One method that helped was setting regular video call dates. Scheduling these calls gave us both something to look forward to and helped simulate spending time together in person. Technology today makes it easier to share moments, whether it’s watching a movie simultaneously or simply chatting about our day. Additionally, sending little surprises like photos or short videos became a fun way to bridge the gap. For example, we’d purchase photos or create mini video collages to share memories or fun moments. These small acts made me feel seen and appreciated even when apart. Another important aspect is having supportive friends, or as I like to call them, "besties for the resties." They provide comfort and understanding during tough times, and speaking with them can ease the loneliness. Ultimately, patience and honest communication are crucial. Expressing how much you miss each other and recognizing the difficulties without judgment builds trust and deepens the relationship. While long-distance can suck at times, it also teaches resilience, commitment, and creative ways to share love despite the miles.
