Participating in the Next Runway Star contest has been such an incredible experience. When I first entered, I wasn't sure how far I would go, but making it into the Top 15 feels like a huge win already. If you’re considering joining a similar contest or supporting someone in one, here’s what I’ve learned along the way. First, consistent voting is key. The contest allows for daily free votes, so it’s important to encourage not just yourself but everyone who supports you to vote every day. This daily engagement helps maintain your visibility in the competition and keeps momentum going. Second, community support is invaluable. Reminding friends, family, and followers about the voting deadlines and sharing your unique link multiple times can significantly increase the number of votes you receive. Third, watching advice videos from past winners or organizers, like Amanda’s latest video tips, really helped me understand what judges might be looking for and how to improve my presentation. Whether you advance further or not, each round is a learning opportunity to improve your skills and confidence.
