... Read moreFriendsmas is truly one of my favorite traditions, and I'm so glad my girls and I get to make new memories every year! If you're wondering how to spend Christmas with your friends and make it extra special, I’ve got some ideas that we’ve loved, and some I’m hoping to try. It's all about creating those unforgettable moments and celebrating the bond you share. First off, you can’t go wrong with a classic Holiday Potluck or Dinner Party. This is often our go-to! Everyone brings their favorite festive dish, whether it's a savory main course, a delicious side, or a decadent dessert. It takes the pressure off one person, and you get a wonderful spread. We usually put on some MERRY Christmas tunes and just enjoy each other's company around a beautifully set table. It feels so cozy and personal. Another fantastic idea is a Festive Game Night. We love pulling out board games, playing charades, or even doing some Christmas-themed trivia. Laughter is guaranteed, and it’s a brilliant way to spend quality time without too much planning. Or, how about a DIY Craft Session? Think ornament decorating, making personalized holiday cards, or even a cookie decorating contest! It's super fun, and everyone gets a keepsake to take home. For a more relaxed vibe, a Christmas Movie Marathon is perfect. Get cozy with blankets, hot cocoa, and all your favorite holiday films. We always find ourselves quoting lines and reminiscing. And of course, a Gift Exchange adds an extra layer of excitement! Whether it’s a Secret Santa or a hilarious White Elephant, swapping thoughtful or funny gifts is always a highlight. Don't forget the drinks! We often get together to try out new Christmas Cocktail recipes. It’s a fun activity in itself, experimenting with different flavors and garnishes. You can even make it a friendly competition for the best-tasting drink! Beyond just parties, consider giving back by Volunteering Together at a local charity or food bank. It’s a heartwarming way to spend time together and spread some holiday cheer. Or, if you’re up for an adventure, explore local Christmas light displays or go ice skating! The key is to pick something that feels right for your group and simply enjoy the magic of the season with your closest friends. These traditions are what make the holidays so special, and I truly believe everyone should have a Friendsmas to look forward to!
