a journey beyond the scale

In 2025, I went on my first proper cut (10 week) with 8 goals in mind not just to change my body, but to create a new identity and a healthier relationship with myself.

This cut wasn’t about being the smallest version of me. It was about becoming the better version of me.

My 8 goals were to:

1) Build a better relationship with food

2) Break the emotional eating cycle

3) Less focus on the scale and more on how I feel

4) Feel confident and learn to love myself

5) Celebrate every win whether big or small

6) Gain control over my diet without feeling restricted

7) Create a sustainable lifestyle

8) Become the best version of myself, not a “perfect” one

As 2026 begins, I’m showing up for myself again with patience and growth in mind. This year is all about continuing the work, strength (physically and mentally) and choosing myself again. This journey continues with same goals but a stronger mindset and a kinder heart.

... Read moreEmbarking on a lifestyle change like a 10-week cut is often seen only through the lens of physical transformation, but for me, it was truly an emotional and mental awakening. One of the biggest insights I gained was the importance of breaking free from emotional eating. I learned that my relationship with food had to be based on nourishment and enjoyment rather than guilt or stress. Shifting focus away from the scale was a pivotal mindset change. Instead of obsessing over numbers, I paid close attention to how my body felt—more energetic, stronger, and more confident. This helped me celebrate small victories that did not reflect on the scale but rather on my increased self-love and mental resilience. For example, choosing to eat without restrictions but with intention allowed me to feel in control without feeling deprived. Another vital part of this journey was cultivating patience and kindness towards myself. Sustainable lifestyle changes don’t happen overnight. I remind myself that progress is a continuous path filled with ups and downs. Setting achievable goals like celebrating every win, no matter how small, helped maintain motivation and joy throughout the process. As I enter 2026, I aim to deepen this journey by strengthening both my physical and mental health. This means continuing to choose habits that align with my eight goals: improving my food relationships, embracing confidence, and focusing on wellness instead of perfection. For anyone else struggling with similar challenges, my advice is to define your own version of success—one that feels nourishing, empowering, and sustainable. Health is more than a number; it’s a lifelong commitment to becoming the best version of yourself with patience, grace, and self-love.

🍽️ Fat loss doesn’t mean eating less. It means eating smarter.

For years, women have been told: 👉 Eat less. 👉 Skip meals. 👉 Cut carbs. 👉 Avoid snacks. But after working with hundreds of women, prenatal mums, postnatal mums, and women navigating their 40s and beyond, we’ve seen the same pattern. Many women aren’t struggling because they’re eating to
