💭 1 improvement from ytd is I didn’t snack on cookies mindlessly 😬 but… what a nutritionless and calorie dense dinner…. Good news is wife cake is finishing. An improvement would be to limit chips!! And prioritise protein rich meals like maybe a protein shake for dinner instead of 1/2 packet of chips.
Tracking your daily weight and meals is a powerful way to stay accountable on a weight loss journey. On day 2, weighing in at 67.4kg shows a slight progress from the starting point of 67.6kg, which is encouraging when paired with nearly 9,050 steps recorded for the day. Incorporating regular movement like walking can significantly enhance your calorie burn and support fat loss. From a nutrition perspective, being mindful about portion sizes and meal composition is vital. While indulging in treats like wife cake and chocolate ice cream can be part of a balanced approach, it's important to balance them with protein-rich foods that help sustain fullness and muscle maintenance. Swapping calorie-dense snacks such as potato chips for protein shakes or lean protein alternatives during dinner can reduce excess calorie intake and improve nutrient quality. Another tip is to plan meals ahead to avoid mindless snacking. Having protein options ready and increasing vegetable intake adds fiber which helps control hunger. Reflecting on what worked well today, like avoiding cookies, and identifying areas for improvement, like reducing chips, demonstrates effective self-monitoring and an adaptive mindset. Keeping an open journal of food and activity, as seen, not only tracks progress but builds awareness around personal habits and triggers. Remember, gradual changes accumulate to meaningful results, and celebrating small victories helps maintain motivation. This honest, day-to-day documentation uniquely supports a sustainable path towards achieving the 60kg goal.
