ghost face mori
Hey fellow DbD players! If you're anything like me, you've probably faced Ghost Face and thought, "How did he even get me?!" Or maybe you're looking to pick him up and want to understand his unique kit. Well, I've spent a fair bit of time playing as this stealthy slasher, and I'm here to break down exactly how Ghost Face works in Dead by Daylight, helping you become a truly BRUTAL KILLER! Ghost Face's core power is called Shrouded in Night. This isn't your typical killer power; it’s all about stealth and precise timing. When Shrouded in Night is active, Ghost Face loses his Terror Radius and Red Stain, essentially making him invisible to survivors' warning systems. This is huge for ambushes and map pressure. However, it's a timed ability, and you'll need to reactivate it after a short cooldown or if you get revealed. Now, the real meat of his power lies in Night Shroud's Stalk ability. While stealthy, you can stalk survivors. If you successfully stalk a survivor for a specific duration (it's not long, but requires line of sight), they become Exposed. This is where Ghost Face shines! An Exposed survivor can be instantly downed with a single basic attack, bypassing all health states. This instant-down potential is what makes him so lethal and why mastering his stalk is crucial. So, how do you use this effectively? Firstly, use cover! Corners, tall loops, and jungle gyms are your best friends. Pop out, get a quick stalk, and then quickly hide again to maintain your Night Shroud. Survivors can actually reveal you by looking at you for a duration, so use that stealth to your advantage and break line of sight frequently. Don't chase in the open if you can help it; use the map to your benefit to re-enter stealth and re-engage the stalk. Speaking of Mori, Ghost Face has one of the most iconic and satisfying ones in the game. While his power doesn't grant a built-in Mori like some killers, activating his Deathbound offering allows you to perform his unique Mori animation on the last survivor if they are in the dying state. Landing that perfect stalk and then executing a Mori feels incredibly rewarding and cements his status as a truly BRUTAL KILLER. My advice? Don't always go for the stalk if a basic hit is guaranteed; sometimes it's better to secure the down and then set up for the next survivor, but always keep the Exposed status in mind for high-priority targets. Practicing your peeking and stalking angles will significantly improve your gameplay with Ghost Face, making you a much more formidable presence in the Fog.
