What should I do with this???
I'm painting what will be my craft room, and it's supposed to have blue walls with a pink trim
Well
I bought a gallon on accident, because instinct told me to buy more pink
So now I have almost a whole gallon left ðŸ˜
What should I do with it? I already painted a cute little heart thing that's going on the wall
Oh my goodness, I totally get it! We've all had those moments where we stand in the paint aisle, a little too confident, and end up with way more than we meant to buy a pint of! It's super frustrating when you're done painting and realize *how much you have left*, especially a whole gallon of gorgeous pink! But honestly, a gallon of pink paint is like a treasure trove waiting for some fun DIY magic. Don't let it sit there gathering dust – let's turn that 'oopsie' into an opportunity for some amazing creative paint activities! First off, since you're already rocking a craft room with blue walls and pink trim, why not lean into that theme even more? Your craft room is the perfect canvas for little pops of pink. Think about those storage solutions – plain wooden or cardboard boxes can get a chic update with a coat of your leftover pink paint. It ties everything together and makes your space feel so cohesive and inspiring. You could even paint the inside of a bookshelf or the drawers of a small desk to add unexpected bursts of color. Stenciling is another fantastic option! Grab some stencils and add delicate pink patterns to a plain wall, a canvas bag, or even the top of a small side table. Beyond the craft room, this pink paint is begging for some home decor love! I recently had some leftover paint myself and used it to transform some old, boring picture frames. A quick sanding and a couple of coats of paint, and suddenly they looked brand new and totally elevated. You could do the same with terracotta pots for your plants, bringing a lovely pop of color to your windowsill. Glass jars and bottles can also be painted on the inside for a frosted look, or on the outside for a more opaque, decorative vase. Imagine a cute pink vase holding some fresh flowers – instant mood booster! And let's not forget about upcycling! Do you have any old, small wooden chairs or stools that could use a facelift? A vibrant coat of pink paint can completely revitalize them. Or maybe some plain wooden coasters or a serving tray? These make for super thoughtful, personalized gifts too! Just make sure to seal them properly if they'll see a lot of use. If you're feeling adventurous, consider some artistic endeavors. Grab a blank canvas or even some sturdy watercolor paper. You can experiment with abstract art by pouring, dripping, or even finger painting (if it's non-toxic and you're feeling playful!). Even if you're not an artist, creating a simple abstract piece in your craft room's color scheme can add a unique, personal touch to your decor. My personal favorite way to use leftover paint for smaller projects is to create accent pieces. I once painted the edges of a plain white mirror frame, and it made such a difference. Or what about painting a simple geometric design on a plain cushion cover (using fabric medium if necessary) or even a plain placemat? The possibilities for fun activities with paint are truly endless when you start looking at everyday items as potential canvases. So, don't fret over that extra gallon! Embrace it as an opportunity to infuse more personality into your home. I'd love to hear what creative ideas you come up with – let's inspire each other to make the most of every drop of paint!

I would see if the paint store will take it back and reuse it.
