God is my rock bottom
We don’t always understand why life feels like it’s falling apart, why doors close, or why the ground gives way beneath us. But even in those moments, God is still there, unshaken, unmovable, unchanging. Rock bottom isn’t the end; it’s where He reminds us that He is our foundation. When everything else crumbles, He remains. #rockbottom #glowwithingrace #unshakablefaith #unshakablegod #faithbased
I remember those moments vividly – the feeling that the ground was literally giving way beneath me, and everything I thought I could rely on seemed to crumble. It’s a truly disorienting and painful experience. And it’s natural to ask, 'Why? Why would God allow this?' For the longest time, I struggled with that question, feeling lost and bewildered. But through my own journey, I came to understand a profound truth, much like it’s said: Sometimes, God lets you hit rock bottom so that you realize He is the Rock at the bottom. It wasn't a punishment, but a powerful redirection. It was in those moments of utter helplessness that I truly learned to let go of my own strength, my own plans, and fully cling to His. When you’re at your lowest, with nothing left to hold onto, that’s when you discover the one thing that never moves – His unwavering presence. This process of hitting rock bottom and finding God there isn't easy. It’s filled with tears, doubt, and often, a lot of quiet waiting. But it's also where genuine spiritual growth begins. It takes a rock bottom to get better, not in a superficial way, but in a profound, soul-deep transformation. It forces us to re-evaluate our foundations. What have we been building our lives on? Our careers? Relationships? Material possessions? When those things are stripped away, we’re left with the opportunity to build anew, this time on a foundation that cannot be shaken. If you're in that place right now, feeling like life is falling apart, please know you’re not alone. Here’s what I learned that helped me navigate through it: Acknowledge Your Pain: It’s okay to feel broken, sad, or angry. God can handle your raw emotions. Don't suppress what you're experiencing. Seek His Presence: Even if it's just a whisper or a quiet moment. Read a verse, listen to worship music, or simply sit in silence, inviting Him in. He is always listening. Trust in His Purpose: It might not make sense now, but trust that He is working all things for your good. This challenging season has a purpose, even if it's just to draw you closer to Him. Rebuild with Intention: Use this time to truly connect with God. Let Him show you what an unshakable faith looks like when it's grounded solely in Him. It’s a chance to purify and strengthen your spirit. My rock bottom was messy, painful, and challenging, but it was also the most pivotal point in my spiritual walk. It taught me that even when everything else crumbles, God remains. He is not just at the bottom; He is the bottom, the ultimate Rock upon which we can always stand.
