Beyond topical remedies like cucumber slices or rose water-soaked cotton pads, staying well-hydrated throughout the day makes a significant difference—drink at least 8 glasses of water daily to keep your skin plump and vibrant. Stress and lack of quality sleep often worsen dark circles. I made it a habit to get 7-8 hours of restful sleep by winding down without screens at least an hour before bed and using blue light filters in the evening. Protecting your skin from sun damage also helps prevent pigmentation worsening, so applying sunscreen around the eyes and wearing sunglasses outdoors is essential. For nourishing care, I prepare a DIY under-eye gel mixing aloe vera gel, rose water, and vitamin E capsule contents. Applying this gel nightly not only hydrates but calms the delicate skin while promoting even tone. I also massage almond oil gently around my eyes before sleeping, which is excellent for skin nourishment and might help lighten dark circles over time.
