TOP Hormone Health Tips!

Hormone Health Tips for January 👇🏻

It’s a new month, week & year which means there’s no better time than today to create healthy habits that stick all year long!

You don’t need all the new trendy supplements or detoxes you’re going to see being promoted here in the new year

You need to get back to the basics:

👉🏻 nourish your body with an organic whole foods based diet (focus on bloodsugar balancing meals: 20-30g of protein at each meal with healthy fats & fiber, eat three meals a day and aim to have your last meal 3 hours before bed)

👉🏻 move your body daily (specifically strength training it’s so incredible for longevity & hormone balance)

👉🏻 regulate your nervous system by slowing things down, meditating, EFT tapping and spending time in nature

👉🏻 focus on getting a quality 7-9 hours of sleep every night

👉🏻 daily gratitude practice

👉🏻 spend time with positive people who lift you up

👉🏻 hydrate & replenish those electrolytes

👉🏻 focus on self care practices (my favorite lately have been Epsom salt baths, dry brushing, Gua sha, sauna)

👉🏻 support detoxification: dry brushing, castor oil packs, sweating through working out/sauna

👉🏻 prioritize your gut health- avoid seed oils, processed sugars & alcohol & focus on cooking with ghee, tallow or olive oil, incorporate more fermented foods into your diet and eat without distractions

This is your FOUNDATION to optimal health!

Which ones have made the biggest different along your healing journey?

... Read moreJanuary is a time for renewal, and what better way to embrace the new year than by focusing on hormone health? Start with nourishing your body through an organic, whole foods-based diet. Aim for meals rich in protein—20 to 30 grams each time—and include healthy fats and fiber to stabilize blood sugar levels. Remember to eat your last meal about three hours before bedtime for better sleep quality. Daily physical activity is essential, and incorporating strength training at least three times a week will help balance hormones and promote longevity. Take care of your mental well-being by practicing meditation, spending time in nature, and engaging in daily gratitude exercises. Ensure you’re getting 7-9 hours of quality sleep each night to support your body’s recovery and hormonal balance. It’s also crucial to hydrate and replenish electrolytes regularly. Self-care practices can significantly affect hormonal health. Consider adding Epsom salt baths, dry brushing, Gua sha techniques, and sauna sessions to your routine. Moreover, focusing on gut health is paramount; avoid processed sugars, alcohol, and seed oils while incorporating foods rich in probiotics, such as yogurt and fermented products. Emphasizing these foundational health habits can significantly enhance your hormone balance journey as you strive to become the healthiest version of yourself this year!
