What colour I will pick for my new house✨

5/20 Edited to

... Read moreWhen choosing colours for a new home, I found it incredibly helpful to consider the mood and function of each space. For example, in the kitchen, I went with Artisan Rose Mallow by Hafary because its warm, inviting pinkish hues create a cozy yet elegant atmosphere, perfect for family gatherings and cooking sessions. It’s amazing how a colour can influence the feel of a room! For the master bedroom, I opted for Lamitak’s DXP 1389BS, a calm and sophisticated shade that evokes tranquility—ideal for resting and unwinding. I recommend matching your bedroom colour to your personal comfort; a relaxing tone helps you sleep better and start the day refreshed. In the living room, I chose Panaplast's H-WB-63322WM. This color blends well with natural lighting, making the area feel spacious yet warm. When picking living room colours, think about how you'll use the room—bright colours can energize, while muted tones offer a serene vibe. The dining area features Lamitak WY 5214D, a classic yet modern shade that enhances appetite and conversation, creating a welcoming space for friends and family. It’s great to select colours that promote positive emotions in shared spaces. Finally, for the kid’s bedroom, Lamitak’s SCX 1147D was my pick because of its playful and lively character that stimulates creativity and joy. When decorating kids' rooms, colour can play a crucial role in supporting their imagination and happiness. Overall, my experience shows that exploring materials and finishes—like those from Hafary, Lamitak, and Panaplast—together with colour theory and personal preference, leads to a well-balanced and inviting home. Always test samples in your rooms, observe them at different times of day, and consider how the colours integrate with your furniture and decor. This approach helped me feel confident in every choice and enhance my home’s unique charm and comfort.

Previously we talked about how to set priorities and REAL budget and also how to shortlist flats for viewings, now it's time to arrange for viewing! You’ll definitely check off your own criteria (floor, size, layout etc), but what about the unspoken things sellers/agents don’t usually tell you
