The Wardrobe Came In😆😆😆
The wardrobe came in😆😆😆😆😆😆😆
As a former Wardrobe Stylist, the Fashionista in me ALWAYS gets excited during this part of project pre-production.
I received an array of absolutely beautiful garments for the Aesthetic Alkhemy (@aestheticalkhemy ) portfolio project from an overseas vendor in a wide enough array of styles and sizes that identifying models should be an ease (hopefully).
These are just a couple of the peices, as I can't yet show off the full line (the shoot will perform that job BEAUTIFULLY, however)...yet I did want to take a moment to give you a taste, as this pre-production process has been unfolding across social media for the last several weeks.
In the meantime, we've also ordered some furniture pieces, are waiting for a few set items and props to come in (hopefully by the end of July), and I'll be performing the accessory pull this month as well.
We're officially midway through preparations, and I couldn't be more excited😆😆😆
Have a very happy Monday in this wonderful month of July💖✨️💐

As someone who has always been passionate about fashion and styling, I completely understand the excitement that comes with receiving a new wardrobe for a project—it truly marks a significant milestone in creative endeavors. From my experience, the variety in garment styles and sizes is crucial, especially when preparing for a portfolio shoot like the Aesthetic Alkhemy project mentioned. It offers flexibility in selecting the right models to align with the creative vision. An important part of the pre-production process that often goes unnoticed is the coordination of furniture pieces and props, which are essential for setting the mood of the shoot. Waiting for these items to arrive can be nerve-wracking but also adds to the anticipation knowing that each element builds the story being told through fashion imagery. In addition, the accessory pull—something the author is planning for this month—is a key phase for styling. Accessories can transform outfits and enhance the overall aesthetic, and assembling the right pieces requires both creativity and a keen eye for detail. Being midway through such preparations means there's still time to refine the concept. I’ve found that sharing glimpses of these stages on social media not only engages the audience but also builds excitement and community around the project. Lastly, it’s worth noting how moments like these reflect the blend of creative and logistical efforts behind fashion styling. From sourcing garments internationally to synchronizing all visual elements, the process is as much about passion as precision. For anyone involved in similar projects, embracing this complexity and documenting it can make the journey as fulfilling as the final outcome.
