DENTAL Student
I just started my first week of classes for this semester 🥳
I was accepted into my school's Competitive Program and it's already overwhelming 🥴
I'm currently taking three classes before I begin clinical rotations and I'm feeling really stressed out already !!!
I was confident that I would do well this semester, but Dental radiology is proving to be the toughest class I've ever taken, and it's only the first week.
It's frustrating because I really want to succeed in everything ☹️ it's incredibly difficult! Hopefully, things will improve as I gain more experience 🥹
👍Pros: I’m aiming to get there, no worries!
🤔Cons: I’m overthinking, it’s only the first week.

Starting dental school is an exciting yet challenging experience. The initial weeks often create a whirlwind of emotions and expectations. As you dive into demanding subjects like dental radiology, it's essential to develop effective study strategies. Consider forming study groups with classmates to share insights and clarify difficult concepts. Time management is crucial; prioritize your study time and breaks to avoid burnout. Mental health can take a toll during this intense phase. Incorporate self-care routines such as exercise or mindfulness practices. Remember, reaching out to faculty or upperclassmen for advice can provide invaluable support. Building a strong network of peers can make all the difference in navigating the ups and downs of dental school. Stay positive and keep your goals in sight; mastery comes with time and perseverance!

Dental assistant over here. It gets easier over time but also in this field you learn something new everyday. I’m 4 year in and still learning things I didn’t know before. Move at your pace.
