Prayer for Holy Wednesday:🕯️💔

Today is Wednesday of Holy Week, also known as Spy Wednesday—the day Judas agreed to betray Jesus. This prayer is a moment to check our hearts and stay faithful.

Thank you for joining us. Follow along as we continue daily prayers through Holy Week—tomorrow is Maundy Thursday and we’re getting closer to the cross.

Holy Wednesday, the day we remember Judas' betrayal, serves as a poignant reminder of the importance of faithfulness and sincerity in our spiritual walk. As we progress through Holy Week, it’s essential to reflect not only on the events leading up to the crucifixion but also on our personal commitments to Christ. On this day, we can ask ourselves: Are we living authentically in our faith? Just as Judas walked with Jesus yet chose silver over loyalty, we must examine our lives for any areas where we may compromise our faith for worldly gain. This week is an opportunity for deep introspection, a time to realign our hearts with God’s purpose. Engage in daily prayers and meditate on the significance of each event leading to the cross. These moments offer a chance to surrender our doubts, fears, and any betrayal we may have unwittingly committed. As we pray, let’s also strive to strengthen our bonds within the Christian community, lifting each other up in faith as we overcome our spiritual battles together. Let this Holy Wednesday be a turning point to recommit ourselves to a journey towards the cross, rich in devotion and true accountability.
