#witchcraft#spellbottle#magick#witchesoflemon8 I just made a spell bottle this morning for health and I wrote everything down in my very own book of shadows that I am creating based on things I’ve done or things that I find and resonate with me or was sent to me. Don’t forget to scroll, so you see the page in my book of shadows where it list all the ingredients I used to make this spell bottle.

While my initial health spell bottle recipe in my Book of Shadows is wonderful, I wanted to share some deeper insights and tips I've picked up along the way to truly make your own healing jar resonate with you.
Choosing Your Ingredients: Beyond the Basics for a Potent Health Spell Jar
When you're gathering items for your health spell jar, think about their energetic properties. Beyond the lavender and rosemary I often use (lavender for calm, rosemary for protection and healing), consider adding:
Herbs: Eucalyptus for cleansing and respiratory health, peppermint for invigoration and pain relief, chamomile for soothing, or sage for purification. Each herb brings its unique magic!
Crystals: Clear quartz is a fantastic amplifier for any intention. Amethyst can bring calm and spiritual healing, while green aventurine is wonderful for overall well-being and growth. Don't forget rose quartz for emotional healing if that's part of your health journey.
Salts: Besides sea salt for purification, Epsom salt can be used for drawing out negativity and promoting relaxation. Himalayan pink salt can add a layer of protective and grounding energy.
Oils: A few drops of essential oil corresponding to your intention (e.g., eucalyptus for clear breathing, frankincense for spiritual healing) can amplify the blend.
Personal Touches: A small lock of hair, a nail clipping, or even a drawn picture representing good health can personalize your spell jar and strengthen its connection to you.
Crafting Your Jar: My Extended Ritual for Healing Energy
The process itself is a ritual. I always start by cleansing my jar and all ingredients, either with smoke from sage or palo santo, or by simply visualizing pure light washing over them. As I layer each item into the jar, I focus intently on my desired outcome for good health.
Layering with Intention: Instead of just dropping things in, I visualize the healing energy flowing into each ingredient. For instance, as I add lavender, I feel a wave of calm wash over me. When I add crystals, I imagine their energy radiating outwards.
Sealing the Magic: After filling, I seal my jar tightly. Using wax, especially green wax, is a beautiful way to lock in your intention, as green symbolizes healing, growth, and vitality. I let a green candle burn down over the lid, allowing the wax to drip and create a powerful seal. This step feels incredibly potent!
Activating Your Spell: Once sealed, I "charge" my health spell jar. This could be by holding it in moonlight overnight, placing it on an altar with other healing items, or simply holding it in my hands and pouring all my focused intention into it. Sometimes, I draw a health sigil on a small piece of paper and place it under the jar or even burn it to release the intention to the universe.
Making It Yours: Tips for Any Spell Jar
Remember, the power of any spell jar, whether it's for health, protection, creativity, or even a mini spell jar for your pocket, comes from your intention and belief. Don't be afraid to experiment with different spell jar recipes or adapt them to what you have available. If you're creating a mini spell jar, simply scale down your ingredients and focus your intention even more precisely. For instance, a tiny bottle with just a pinch of salt, a small herb leaf, and a tiny crystal shard can be incredibly effective when imbued with strong intent.
While my article focuses on health, the principles are similar for a spell protection jar (black salt, rosemary, obsidian) or a love spell ingredients jar (rose petals, pink quartz, cinnamon). It's all about aligning your tools with your purpose. This practice isn't about replacing traditional care, but about supporting your well-being with focused, positive energy. It’s truly about empowering yourself!
