This is Kirby. She was adopted from a petco at an adoption event. We actually came to look at a different cat, but that cat wanted nothing to do with us. Kirby, on the other hand, was trying to attack the cage to get out to us. She is an American Bobtail! So her tail is just a lil' nub. She has some weird habits, like watching cartoons and "cat-tv". Or she plays fetch with her favorite ball, sometimes when she's ready to play and you aren't she will carry the ball around the house SCREAMING for someone to play with her. She also loves getting into stuff, making little cat forts by digging in blankets or the couch. Anytime we think she's missing, she's just sleeping somewhere super weird. 😂 When we adopted her, the lady kind of warned us about her maybe being a little feral. They had just got her in, apparently, from someone trying to catch some other small animal in a trap, but they caught this little girl instead! She was a little crazy the first couple of weeks, but she adjusted super well, now she's just a super cool cat with an awesome personality. 😋
She got her name from the Music video "Kirby" by Aesop Rock and if you haven't heard the song or even seen the music video I would definitely recommend it! It's great 💜
